FILASTIN, NOT PALESTINE. PALESTINE IS A RECENT MYTH.

Leading up to Israel's independence in 1948, it was common for the international press to label Jews, not Arabs, living in the British Mandate as 'Palestinians'.

It was not until years after Israeli independence that the Arabs living in the West Bank and Gaza Strip began calling themselves "FILASTINS", NOT 'Palestinians'.

FILASTINS, PRONOUNCED THE VERY SAME AS WE PRONOUNCE PHILISTINES.
The Arabic-speaking people still pronounce the word Palestine in their native tongue as “Filastin”. 
PALESTINE IS A GRECO-EUROPEAN MISNOMER.

The ARABS IN ISRAEL made a sudden claim, beginning in 1967, to be remnants of the extinct race called 'Philistines', which means they are claiming to be of Aegean descent, Aegean, or European, not Semitic as all Arabs are.
Even if they claimed to be descendants of the Canaanites, this would make them blood relatives to the Jewish warriors who conquered Canaan, as the Canaanites claimed to be an ancient tribe descended from pre-Abrahamic ancestors.

Canaan was a son of Ham, who was a son of Noah. Noah cursed Canaan and eventually, that line moved south, away from the other two brother's tribes. This has never been denied by those in Islam who claim direct lineage from Abraham.
The Canaanites also became extinct, with no remnant left in modern times.
Like the Philistines, hardly anything remains of Canaanite culture, and nothing remains to make a genetic link to them by any modern people.

Abraham was a descendant of Noah's son Shem.
The "eternal conflict" between Arabs and Jews comes from the claim of Islam that Abraham's "illegitimate" and firstborn son, Ishmael, should have inherited from Abraham all that his "legitimate" younger son, Isaac did.
They claim Ishmael's birthright was stolen.
They saw Abraham's casting-out of Ishmael, abandoning him to die in the wilderness, as unfair and so blame Isaac and his descendants to this day for Ishmael's shame at the hands of his father, Abraham.
Abraham chose Isaac over Ishmael.
According to both Islam and Jews, Abraham was their "father", their patriarch.
Muslims do not deny that they and the Jewish people have this common ancestor.
They do deny that Abraham was just in making Isaac heir instead of Ishmael.

CONQUEST OF CANAAN BY ISRAELI FORCES
Archaeological evidence in the region once known as Canaan does support the wide-spread upheaval of a conquest, and something momentous did occur circa 1250-1200 BCE which resulted in a displacement of indigenous people, not only in Canaan, but elsewhere throughout the region.

At the end of the Bronze Age, a series of invasions threw the Near East into political turmoil, severely weakening the established powers there.
At the start of the Iron Age, the old powers that had ruled over the Levant such as Egypt and the Hittite Empire, were no longer strong enough to control the region. This political vacuum was filled by three main groups; the Philistines, the Phoenicians, and the Israelites. The origin of these three peoples is not clearly understood.
 The Philistines were one of the 'Sea Peoples' that had invaded Egypt at the end of the Bronze Age and then settled on the coastal plain around the area of Gaza. The Philistines came from somewhere in the Mediterranean, many scholars have suggested somewhere in the Greek World. 

ORIGINAL ANCIENT CONQUEST OF CANAAN BY ISRAELI FORCES

ISRAEL 980BCE/BC
Around 920 BCE/BC, the kingdom split in half, Israel occupying the northern region with a capital at Samaria and the Kingdom of Judah in the south with Jerusalem as capital. The two kingdoms would sometimes ally and sometimes war but would never again achieve the strength and wealth of the kingdom under the rules of David and Solomon. The Kingdom of Judah prospered under the reigns of the kings Omri (c.876-869 or 884-872 BCE) and Ahab (c.876-853 BCE) and, later, Jehu’s dynasty (842-746 BCE) according to archaeological evidence
Unable to achieve a lasting, meaningful alliance with each other, Israel fell to the Neo-Assyrian Empire in 721 BCE and the population was deported (replaced by Assyrian settlements) and, in 587 BCE, the Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar II defeated Judah, sacked Jerusalem (destroying the temple) and deported the aristocracy, scribes and skilled craftsmen back to Babylon (known as the Babylonian Captivity).

JEWISH LAND PURCHASES PRIOR TO BRITISH MANDATE
Jewish land purchase in Palestine refers to the acquisition of land in Palestine by Jews from the 1840s until the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948.
 Most land purchases between the late 1880s and the 1930s were located in the coastal plain area, including "Acre to the North and Rehovoth to the South, the Esdraelon (Jezreel) and Jordan Valleys and to the lesser extent in Galilee.
Jewish organizations often offered to purchase the land from the wealthy owners for more than the actual value of the area. The Jews paid extraordinarily high prices for the uncultivated and marsh land. During a visit to Palestine in 1930, John Hope Simpson, a British politician, noticed: "They paid high prices for the land, and in addition they paid to certain of the occupants of those lands a considerable amount of money which they were not legally bound to pay". It was believed that Jews were paying as much as $1,000 to $1,100 per acre for non-arable land in 1944. At that same time, one could buy rich arable land in Iowa for a mere $110 per acre.
By 1943, $560,000,000 was paid for nearly 400,000 acres, amounting to around 6% of the land.  
THE ABOVE IS A MAP OF THE LANDS INITIALLY RETURNED TO ISRAEL BY THE 1920 BRITISH MANDATE.
IT INCLUDES NO LANDS THAT ISRAEL HAD NOT PREVIOUSLY CONQUERED, BUT OMITS SOME LAND THAT SHE HAD WON BY WAR.
IT WAS AN AREA OF 120,466 SQUARE KILOMETERS, BORDERED BY NEWLY CREATED IRAQ, BY SYRIA, EGYPT AND "ARABIA". THERE WAS NO JORDAN. THE ISRAELIS WERE TO GET ALL THE LAND THAT IS NOW KNOWN AS JORDAN, LAND THAT ONCE BELONGED TO SOME OF ISRAEL'S "12 TRIBES". 


THIS IS A MAP OF HOW THE ALLIED FORCES SPLIT THE MIDDLE EAST AMONGST THEMSELVES, THE 'SYKES-PICOT AGREEMENT OF 1916. .
There are people alive today who served in World War I, years before countries like Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Israel, and even Iraq existed. As of the early 1900s, these nations didn't exist.

AFTER WORLD WAR 1, lines were arbitrarily drawn in the sand by victorious European powers with their own colonial interests in mind, followed at a distant second with thoughts of appeasing a gaggle of Arab nobles who all thought they should control territories of their own.
Today's Middle Eastern tensions, Arab disdain for the West, and our involvement in war after war in the region can probably all be traced back to this period in time.
Ultimately, the British would take Egypt, Sudan and the small states of the Persian Gulf. France would seize Algeria and Morocco. And Arab resistance to European encroachment would prompt much bloody violence across the region.

By the early 1900s, much of the Middle East and Africa—which had previously been under control of the old Ottoman Empire—was actually ruled by the Europeans. The ensuing greed of the conquering British and French have made the Middle East a disastrous a place for us all in the 21st century.

In 1897, a Hungarian Jew named Herzl organized the first World Zionist Congress in Switzerland. 
He founded the 'World Zionist Organization', and, as leader of the organization, attempted through diplomatic channels to get one of the major powers to sponsor a Jewish home in what the British, following Roman lead, called Palestine. It seems few wanted to remember that the Jews had conquered all of Canaan and had ruled the area on both sides of the Jordan River for thousands of years. Rather than call it by its ancient names of Israel and Judea, they appeased the wealthy Arabs by continuing to refer to it as 'Palestine', although they referred to Jews living there as 'Palestinians'.

When Herzl approached the British for a return of Jews to Israel, they at first offered them what is now Uganda. Herzl wanted back the archeologically and historically proven lands that ancient Israel/Judea had conquered.

During the war, Jewish leaders gave substantial financial support to the Allied governments.
British leaders also had to consider the pressure coming from Baron Rothschild, a wealthy, politically-active Zionist (and close friend of Dr. Weizmann, the first elected leader of Israel). The financial support of the Rothschilds, at a time when Britain, as a warring country, had to float loan after loan, would be lost, if the Zionist request were refused.
Additionally, if such a request was granted, it would ensure Jewish cooperation throughout the British Empire and in other countries, both during the war and in the future, as well as providing Britain a nearby ally to ensure the Suez Canal continued to operate under British and French administration.

During World War I, the British had made three general promises regarding territory in the Middle East. One of these assured the governors of Arabia independence for a united Arab country covering Syria, in exchange for their supporting the British against the Ottoman Empire. In 1914 the much diminished Ottomans had entered the war on the German side, against the British and French, and it was hoped that an alliance with the Arabs would quell the chances of a general Muslim uprising in British-held territories (even in Africa, India, and the Far East).

CARVING UP THE MIDDLE EAST
The partitioning brought the creation of the modern Arab world and the Republic of Turkey. The League of Nations granted France mandates over Syria, with the Christian coastal areas split off to become Lebanon, and granted BRITAIN mandates over Mesopotamia (Iraq) and mythical 'Palestine'.
Parts of the Ottoman Empire on the Arabian Peninsula became parts of what are today Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
The United States decided to have nothing to do with partitioning of the Ottoman Empire.

THE BALFOUR DECLARATION, 2 November,1917
As a result of all the carving and politics, the British issued the Balfour Declaration of 1917, which stated:
 "His Majesty's government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavors to facilitate the achievement of this object, it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country."

The Arab world was immediately angered by this. They despised their old enemy Israel, had been conquerred by Israelis thousands of years prior and were not about to sit still for Israel reclaiming all its ancient lands of conquest.
Sharif Hussein bin Ali (1853-1931), Emir of Mecca and King of the Arabs, was the last of the Hashemite Sharifians. Hussein had launched the Great Arab Revolt in June 1916 against the Ottoman army. During the First World War, the Turkish dominated Ottoman Empire sided with the Central Powers against the Allies, allowing the Emir of Mecca to seize the opportunity to liberate the Arab lands from Turkish rule by allying himself with the British and the French.

Based on his allegiance to the crown of England, he sat up a howl over 'Palestine' and demanded that his son, Faisal, be installed as 'King of Iraq'.
That was granted but was not enough. He began a howl about needing a kingdom for another son, Abdullah. His persistence and political persuasion paid off and Britain renegged on its promise to Israel, splitting off the largest section of promised land to Israel, which was renamed "Trans-Jordan". The entire eastern portion became this new "Trans-Jordan" merely to provide a throne for another of Hussein's sons. The western, smaller remnant of 'Palestine' stayed under direct British administration, and the Jewish population was allowed to increase, initially under British protection. Most of the Arabian Peninsula fell to another British ally, Ibn Saud, who created the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1932.
ONE Arab king gouged 3 new nations out of Britain, as well as Arabic control of all of Assyria (called Syria.now).
THERE WOULD BE NO SAUDI ARABIA HAD THE ARABS NOT BEGRUDGED ISRAEL HER ANCIENT LANDS.

The cost of maintaining an army of over 100,000 men in 'Palestine' weighed heavily on a British economy suffering from post-war depression, and was another cause for British public opinion to demand a withdrawal from Palestine.

Finally in early 1947 the British Government announced their desire to terminate the Mandate, and passed the responsibility over Palestine to the United Nations.
On November 29, 1947, the United Nations General Assembly, with a two-thirds majority international vote, passed the United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine, a plan to resolve the Arab-Jewish conflict by partitioning the territory into separate Jewish and Arab states (with the Greater Jerusalem area, encompassing Bethlehem, coming under international control).

Jewish leaders reluctantly accepted the plan, while Palestinian Arab leaders rejected it and refused to negotiate.
WHAT WAS LEFT TO ISRAEL?
VERY LITTLE!

THE U.N. PARTITION PLAN LEFT ONLY 25% OF THE ORIGINAL LAND PROMISED TO ISRAEL.
THAT 25% WAS FURTHER REDUCED BY ALMOST HALF IN FURTHER CONCESSIONS TO ARAB DEMANDS.
IN THE END, ARABS WERE AWARDED 85% OF THE BRITISH MANDATE LANDS, JEWS GETTING A PALTRY 15% OF WHAT HAD BEEN SET ASIDE FOR A JEWISH HOMELAND.
IT WAS ROBBERY ON A GRAND SCALE!

REDUCED FROM THE ORIGINAL 120,000+ SQUARE KILOMETERS TO  LESS THAN 20,000, AFTER MANY CONCESSIONS BY ISRAEL AND NONE BY THE ARABS, ISRAEL BECAME ONE OF THE  SMALLEST NATIONS ON EARTH, AND TODAY IS BARELY 8,000 MILES IN TOTAL AREA,.
ISRAEL IS ABOUT THE SAME SIZE AS THE U.S. STATE OF NEW JERSEY.
SURROUNDING ARAB NATIONS ARE THOUSANDS OF TIMES LARGER THAN ISRAEL. .
Israel land area: 8,000 sq miles.
Arab land area: 5,120,000 sq miles.

Israeli total population is 7,116,200, ALL people who live in Israel, BUT 1,413,500 or 20% are Arabs (Muslim & Druze).
Israel is surrounded by 270 million Arab Muslims.

On May 14, 1948, the day before the end of the British Mandate, the Jewish Agency proclaimed independence, naming the country Israel. The following day the armies of five newly sovereign Arab countries—Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq—attacked Israel, launching the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. Morocco, Sudan, Yemen and Saudi Arabia also sent troops to assist the invaders. 
WHAT ISRAEL CONQUERED DURING THE 1967 SIX-DAY WAR, shown in red above.
NEITHER BRITAIN NOR AMERICA, NOT FRANCE NOR ANY OTHER "MAJOR POWER" NATION HAS GIVEN BACK ITS CONQUERED LANDS TO THOSE THEY DEFEATED TO FORM THEIR NATIONS, BUT ISRAEL RETURNED THE VERY LARGE SINAI PENINSULA TO EGYPT. ISRAEL COULD HAVE LAID CLAIM TO MUCH MORE, BUT JUST WITH THE SINAI, SHE COULD HAVE TRIPLED HER LAND MASS.

FILISTINS (PHILISTINES) STILL NOT WELCOME IN ARAB LANDS!
"'Jewish refugees fleeing from Muslim and Arab countries were absorbed by Israel after 1948; Arab refugees fleeing from Israel after 1948 were NOT absorbed by Muslim and Arab countries. Despite the fact that the Muslim nations surrounding Israel are 650 times the size of this tiny state, they made NO effort to absorb the approximately 600,000 Arab refugees who fled Israel in 1948 when war was declared on Israel by five neighboring Arab nations.
NOT ONE OF THEM OFFERED SANCTUARY TO THEIR OWN.

To this day, these 'FILISTIN' refugees are not welcomed by other Arab states. As expressed more than 20 years ago by Ralph Galloway, former head of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees, “The Arab States do NOT want to solve the refugee problem. They want to keep it as an open sore, as an affront to the United Nations and as a weapon against Israel.”
Yet Israel absorbed roughly 800,000 Jewish refugees that had to flee from Muslim nations after 1948.'"

THE MYTH OF PALESTINE
THERE NEVER WAS AN ANCIENT PEOPLE KNOWN AS 'PALESTINIANS'.
THERE NEVER WAS AN ANCIENT LANGUAGE KNOWN AS PALESTINIAN. 
BOTH ARABS AND JEWS BELONG TO THE SEMITE CLASS OF HUMANS.
PHILISTINES DID NOT. THEY WERE AEGEAN.
NOWHERE HAS THERE EVER EXISTED ON EARTH A NATION KNOWN AS PALESTINE UNTIL THE CORRUPTION OF THE WORD 'PHILISTINE' BECAME PALESTINE.

EVEN THE USAGE OF THE WORD PALESTINE WAS UNKNOWN UNTIL THE GREEK HISTORIAN HERODOTUS ERRED IN THE 5th CENTURY BCE/BC, AND WAS THE FIRST TO WRITE THE WORD Palaistinē" (Greek - Παλαιστίνη).

"'The Philistines entered in this region not all at one time but in different eras. The first group reached here in the pre-patriarchal period and made a settlement in Gerar, south of Beersheba. The second group arrived from Crete and settled in the southern coastal area where it divided made different settlements into Gat, Ekron, Ashdod, Ascalon and Gaza. These districts were occupied by the foreign settlers coming mostly from the Mediterranean islands.

In the fifth century BC, the region of the eastern coast of the Mediterranean started being called  “the Philistine Assyria”, a term coined by the Greek historian, Herodotus and used in its Greek language form, changing it to 'Palestine'.
WHY?
In AD 135, the Emperor Hadrian blotted out the name “Provincia Judea” and renamed it “Provincia Syria Palaestina”. This was the Latin version of the Greek name and soon became a name to be used as an administrative unit.'"

 WHEN THE ROMANS CONQUERED THE REGION IN THE 2nd CENTURY BCE/BC, THEY APPLIED THE MISNOMER AS A WAY TO DEMORALIZE THE CONQUERED JEWS, KNOWING THAT THE REFERENCE WAS TO THE ANCIENT JEWISH ENEMY, THE PHILISTINES.
GENETICALLY, THE PHILISTINES WERE NOT OF ARAB DESCENT, BUT OF AEGEAN.
THEY WERE A HATED NOMADIC PEOPLE DRIVEN OUT OF THE NATIONS SURROUNDING THE AEGEAN SEA.
THEY WERE SO DESPISED IN THE LAND OF ISRAEL THAT NATIONS CONQUERED BY ISRAEL UNITED WITH HER TO DEFEAT THEM, AND THE ENTIRE CULTURE WAS WIPED OUT 2,500 YEARS AGO, WITH NO GENETICALLY CONNECTED OFFSPRING SURVIVING TO MODERN TIMES.
LIKE CANAANITES, PHILISTINES DISAPPEARED FROM EARTH LONG AGO, NEVER TO RISE AGAIN, LEAVING NO GENETIC SURVIVORS, NOT A ONE.  

ANYONE CLAIMING RELATION TO THE PHILISTINES IS CLAIMING NON-ARABIC ANCESTRY.
NO CENSUS AT ANY TIME REFERRED TO A GENETIC OR LINGUISTIC CLASS OF PEOPLE IDENTIFIED AS 'PALESTINIAN'. THE POPULATION OF THE AREA WERE COUNTED AS JEWISH, OR AS ARABIC, AND MOST ARABIC PEOPLE CLAIMED ROOTS IN SYRIA, EGYPT, OR NATIONS OF THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE. OTHER NON-JEWS CLAIMED NOMADIC TRIBAL ANCESTRY.

AS ANY HONEST ARAB WILL GLADLY TELL YOU, PEOPLE WITH ARABIC NAMES CAN BE IDENTIFIED BY THEIR SURNAMES AS TO THE NATIONS THEY CAME FROM.
SURNAMES SHOW IF AN ARAB CAME FROM SYRIA, EGYPT, ETC, OR WERE FROM TRIBES OF ROAMING NOMADS.

"'The concept of a Palestinian people is a modern invention.'"
After World War I, the name "Palestine" was derisively applied to the territory that was placed under British Mandate; this area included not only present-day Israel but also present-day Jordan.
Former terrorist Walid Shoebateven asked, “Why is it that on June 4th 1967, I was a Jordanian and overnight I became a Palestinian?”

NEITHER THE WORD PALESTINE NOR THE WORD FILASTIN APPEARS IN THE QU'RAN, NOR DOES THE NAME JERUSALEM.
AT NO POINT IN HISTORY DID ANY ARABIC PEOPLE ATTEMPT TO CREATE AN ARABIC STATE WITHING THE 1920 BALFOUR AGREEMENT BORDERS.

THAT REGION HAS ALWAYS BEEN SPARSELY POPULATED BY MAINLY NOMADIC TRIBES.

In 1980, Abd Alhalim Khaddam, then Syria’s Foreign Minister, admitted,
“If we look at a map of the Arab Homeland, we can hardly find two [ARAB] countries without conflict. . . . We can hardly find two [ARAB] countries which are not either in a state of war or on the road to war [WITH EACH OTHER].” 
WHY IS THAT?
BECAUSE ISLAM ITSELF IS SPLIT INTO TWO MAIN "FACTIONS", EACH ALWAYS TRYING TO DOMINATE THE OTHER.
1~ SUNNI MUSLIMS ARE THE LARGEST FACTION IN ISLAM.
"'The term "Sunni" refers to those who follow or maintain the sunnah of the prophet Muhammad.'" 
Saudi Arabia is mainly Sunni, but is further categorized as "Wahabi" Sunni.
Syria, Egypt, Turkey, Afghanistan, Libya, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, and Qatar all have Sunni majority.

2~ SHIA MUSLIMS ARE THE SECOND LARGEST FACTION OF ISLAM.
"'In addition to believing in the authority of the Qur'an and teachings of Muhammad, Shia believe that the prophet's family, the Ahl al-Bayt (the "People of the House"), including his descendants known as Imams, have special spiritual and political rule over the community.
Shia Muslims—though a minority in the Muslim world—constitute the majority of the populations in Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Iran, and Iraq, as well as a plurality in Lebanon and Yemen.'"

IT IS THIS SPLIT, THIS RIFT IN ISLAM THAT PITS NATION AGAINST NATION AND HAS CREATED MANY BITTER WARS AS SUNNI VS SHIA CONTINUES.

The Arab assaults and aggressions against Israel in 1948, 1956, 1967, 1968, and 1973 had nothing to do with 'Palestinians'. The Palestinian terror campaign would itself be easy to suppress today and eradicate if the Middle East conflict were really a Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Israel would simply obliterate the terrorists and expel their supporters to Syria, Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon. Those nations have already stated they will NOT receive 'Palestinians'. The Middle East war continues because it is really an Arab-Israeli war, not an Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
It is also an Islamic religious jihad against the Jews.

In contrast, over 90 percent of the 11 million who perished were killed by fellow Muslims.”

THAT'S JUST IN THE PAST 65 YEARS.
PRIOR TO THAT, SINCE RECORDS WERE KEPT, MUSLIM-ON-MUSLIM DEATHS PLUS MUSLIM-ON-OTHER RELIGIONS DEATHS NUMBER IN THE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS.
IN THE 1,400 YEARS OF ISLAM'S STRUGGLE AGAINST ALL OTHER RELIGIONS, THE MOST ACCEPTED FIGURE BEING ABOUT 270 MILLION KILLED SINCE ISLAM CAME INTO BEING 1400 YEARS AGO, IT SHOULD BE OBVIOUS THAT ISLAM CAN'T TRULY BE CALLED THE RELIGION OF PEACE.

THANKS TO ISRAEL, ARAB NATIONS WERE EITHER CREATED FROM PROMISED ISRAELI LANDS, OR FROM PREVIOUSLY ISRAELI-CONQUERED LANDS WHICH WERE RETURNED TO DEFEATED ARABS, OR BRITAIN AND FRANCE GAVE ARABS LAND TO PLACATE THEM OVER TINY ISRAEL BECOMING A SOVEREIGN NATION AGAIN.
THE SQUEAKY WHEELS GOT THE OIL, BUT THEY WANT MORE.
THEY WANT ISRAEL TO "DISAPPEAR INTO THE SEA".
SINCE ARABS CAN'T DEFEAT ISRAEL IN BATTLE, THEY WANT TO USE POLITICS AND A CONSTANT WHINE TO THE UNITED NATIONS, WHICH ROBBED ISRAEL IN THE BEGINNING, TO ERASE ISRAEL FROM THE MAP.
DEFEATED ARAB NATIONS SHOULD BE GRATEFUL TO ISRAEL FOR NOT DEMANDING HER RIGHTS OF CONQUEST, ELSE AFTER THE 1967 WAR, ISRAEL MIGHT HAVE CLAIMED ALL THE NATIONS SHE SO SOUNDLY DEFEATED...IT WAS HOW BRITAIN, FRANCE, AMERICA, ET AL, CREATED THEIR 'EMPIRES'...THROUGH CONQUEST, BY TAKING CONQUERED LANDS.  
MAYBE NEXT TIME ISRAEL WON'T BE SO GENEROUS.
